I was once a foster child myself, a journey that included navigating the hardships of an independent living program that taught me how to live on my own. By God’s grace, I successfully transitioned from that independent living building into my own stable housing, built a life, and eventually stepped forward to become a foster mother. Walking this path from every single side has given me an undeniable, deeply personal understanding of exactly what these children and families need to feel safe, valued, and supported. “
